EcoBalance Global has developed a proprietary carbon storage and sequestration framework that allows for the optimization of soil-based carbon credit generation on ranchlands in both the US and globally. Program Description

Regenerative grazing coupled with the creation of soil-based carbon credits are the backbone of a unique program that provides a scientific methodology for producing carbon neutral livestock products that can be taken to the worldwide market and sold at a premium. Program positions the livestock and the ranches that produce them as a viable solution in the battle against climate change. Key consideration for program implementation is the premium products produced provides the ranch owner with a higher revenue stream, leading to a greater operating margin.

The grasslands themselves are quickly proving to be a very effective vehicle for storing carbon, providing a more reliable and scientifically validated carbon sequestration methodology than other more widely used options like reforestation. In addition to providing the carbon credits needed for the products the program also provides the rancher with a potential new revenue stream by taking the balance of the carbon credits remaining to the voluntary market for purchase by organizations as part of their overall sustainability strategy.

US Proof of Concept Project

EcoBalance Global is in the process of completing our initial Proof of Concept on Open A Angus Ranch located in North Dakota that has been following regenerative grazing protocols since 2019, demonstrating that the framework outlined exists both in theory and practice. We have completed soil sampling, geospatial artificial intelligence, and all steps outlined in the established BCarbon methodology for soil-based carbon credit generation on approximately 8,728 acres, with another 21,500 acres to be completed by end of 2023. The initial work completed has generated 4,364 carbon credits that have been verified and placed on the BCarbon Registry. EcoBalance Global is the first company worldwide to successfully deploy the framework and generate carbon credits on an accredited registry.
